The Story of Jamie Verdura.

My parents divorce sent me in a completely different direction...⁠

I was on track to graduate a Catholic high school and head off to college. Living a sheltered life.

At 16 years old, I transferred from the Catholic school to a public school.⁠

And had to work to pay for everything I needed.

I tried junior college for two semesters and failed both miserably. ⁠

Realizing it wasn't for me, I started working full time.

I went from selling cars...

To working at a local lumber yard.⁠

To becoming an apprentice. ⁠

To a hands on builder. ⁠

To being licensed at the age of 25 and building my first custom home at age 28.

And now running a company of 18 and loving it.⁠

What excites you about the future?

Surprisingly enough, I'm actually excited about the current situation in the country.

I've learned to like a challenge.

It motivates me.

Yes, you have to work smart, but never forget you have to work hard too.⁠
